Summer Day By: Jeraldine
It was a beautiful day. I said to my Mom if we could go swimming. My Mom said yes, we could go swimming today. Then I was so excited about it. I jumped up and down! Then my Mom said to pack up your stuff because we are going to California today. I packed my things. It was a long time to get there. Finally, we got there. We went straight to swim. Then I put on my swimming suit. Then I jumped in the water. I did a flip under the water. I swimmed backwards. It was fun! Then it was time to go home.

Thanks for sharing this great story about your trip to California. It sounds like you really like to swim. Did you go all the way to California to go swimming, or did you do something else while you were there? Did you swim in the ocean, or in a pool?
